PinPoint-E

byname,themodemneedstohaveaminimumofthree
elementsconfigured.Youcanalsoconfigureaseconddynamic
serverasabackup,secondary,oralternateserver.
InAceManager,selectDynamicIP.

Therearesomerestrictionslistedbelowforthemodem
name.
• *DOMAIN:Thedomainnametobeusedbythemodem.
Thisisthedomainnameoftheserverconfiguredfor
*IPMANAGER1.
• *IPMANAGER1:TheIPaddressordomainnameofthe
dynamicDNSserverwhichisrunningIPManager.
• *IPMANAGER2:Thesecondaryserverforthedomain.
Whileitisoptionaltohavetwoserversconfigured,itis
highlyrecommended.
Tip: You can use a domain name instead of the IP address for your
IP Manager servers if you have DNS set up in your PinPoint-E.
